Mississauga United Cancels Today’s Outdoor Soccer Practices Due to Poor Air Quality

Player Health and Safety Continue to Be Our Highest Priority

Practice Update – Thursday, July 16

Due to the continued poor air quality across Ontario, all Mississauga United outdoor soccer practices are cancelled today.

Environment Canada continues to report elevated levels of air pollution in many parts of Southern Ontario. These conditions can pose health risks during prolonged outdoor physical activity, particularly for children and youth athletes.

At Mississauga United, the safety and well-being of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers always come first. After reviewing the current air quality conditions, we have made the decision to cancel today’s outdoor training sessions to help protect everyone from unnecessary exposure.

We understand that players are eager to train and continue their development, but their health is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make decisions based on player safety.

We will continue to monitor air quality conditions and provide updates regarding upcoming training sessions if necessary.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on the field once conditions improve.

Stay safe and take care.
