Development Academy Program Ages 10–14 Overview

Mississauga United FC’s Development Academy Program is designed for players ages 10–14 who are new to soccer. This beginner-focused program follows advanced European training methods and Ontario Soccer’s Grassroots standards, offering fun and structured indoor sessions. Each week, players build confidence and coordination through age-appropriate drills, team activities, and small-sided games in a supportive, academy-style environment.

Mississauga United FC is proud to partner with Inter Toronto FC, a Toronto-based professional soccer club competing in the Canadian Premier League (CPL), Canada’s top domestic men’s professional soccer league. The partnership supports coaching collaboration, player development and community engagement.

What Your Child Will Learn

The Development Academy Program at Mississauga United FC is designed for youth ages 10–14 who are new to soccer. Through structured coaching, fun drills, and small-sided indoor soccer games, your child will develop key techniques like:

Dribbling: Learn to maneuver the ball with both feet, using close control and changes in direction.
Ball Control: Gain confidence trapping and controlling the ball with feet, thighs, and chest.
Passing: Master accurate passing through real-game scenarios to encourage teamwork.
Shooting: Learn how to shoot the ball with power and precision using proper technique.
Agility & Coordination: Improve overall athleticism through beginner-friendly physical training.

Development Academy Program Details

Season Duration:

October 5, 2026–April 16, 2027

Training Schedule & Times:

Tuesdays — 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Thursdays — 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Fridays — 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Training takes place at indoor facilities throughout Mississauga. Registered families will receive detailed facility information through TeamLinkt prior to the start of the program.

Development Academy — Once per Week
Full Season: $545 (before tax)
Fall Season (October 5–December 18, 2026): $300 (before tax)
Winter Season (January 4–April 16, 2027): $325 (before tax)
Development Academy — Twice per Week
Full Season: $959 (before tax)
Fall Season (October 5–December 18, 2026): $529 (before tax)
Winter Season (January 4–April 16, 2027): $575 (before tax)

Early Commitment Savings
Register by August 20, 2026, to save 10% with Early Commitment Savings. Available with lump-sum registration and the full-season monthly payment plan.
