Professional Soccer Experience for Mississauga United Players and Families
This year, we are proud to partner with Inter Toronto for an unforgettable professional soccer experience as they take on Vancouver FC. Mississauga United FC is excited to announce a special club event for all players, parents, families, coaches, and supporters — Mississauga United Day at York Lions Stadium on Sunday, April 19 at 5:00 PM.
The event will include a special Mississauga United walk-out experience, giving our players the opportunity to be part of the matchday atmosphere and walk out alongside professional players before kickoff.
For many young athletes, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity toexperience what it feels like to be part of a professional soccer event. From stepping onto the field with the players to hearing the crowd and seeing the stadium atmosphere, this will be a memorable day for everyone involved.
Players participating in the walk-out experience will also have the opportunity to interact with the professional players before the match and take photos with them, making the experience even more memorable for our young athletes.
In addition to the walk-out experience, Inter Toronto is also exploring additional special opportunities for Mississauga United players, including flag bearer roles, locker room photo opportunities, and the chance to view the professional team warm-up from the bench area. These experiences will be limited and available for selected participants, helping make Mississauga United Day even more exciting for our players and families.
A Special Connection for Mississauga United
This match is especially meaningful for our club because Mississauga United alumni Marsel Bibishkov is part of the Vancouver FC organization.
Marsel came through Mississauga United during his youth development years before continuing his pathway to higher levels of soccer. He has gone on to represent Canada at the U20 level and continues to build his career at the professional level.
For our younger players, it is exciting to see one of our former players involved in the professional game and to be able to attend an event connected to that journey.
Marsel’s development is also a reminder to our players and families of the importance of hard work, strong coaching, and long-term development. At Mississauga United, we continue to focus on helping players improve technically, build confidence, and create opportunities for the future.
A Great Family Event for Mississauga United Members
Mississauga United Day is not only about the game itself. It is also a great opportunity for families across all club programs to come together and enjoy a fun soccer event as a community.
Whether your child is in Future Stars, Super Girls, Development, Rep, or one of our older competitive teams, this event is designed for everyone. Parents will have a chance to connect with other club families, players can enjoy the match together, and younger players can experience the excitement of a professional soccer environment.
For many of our younger players, attending a CPL match may be their first experience watching professional soccer in person. That experience can be inspiring and motivating as they continue to develop their own love for the game.
The atmosphere at York Lions Stadium is always energetic and family-friendly, making it the perfect venue for a club outing.
Ticket Information for Mississauga United Day
We are offering special ticket pricing for Mississauga United members and families:
- Youth Ticket: $15
- Adult Ticket: $25
Players who are interested in participating in the walk-out experience must be 7 years old or older.
Walk-out spots are limited and will be prioritized for Mississauga United club members on a first come, first serve basis.
Families who purchase tickets early may also have the opportunity to be selected for additional experiences such as flag bearing, locker room photo opportunities, bench-side warm-up viewing, and other matchday activities.
