U8/U9 Competitive Rep. Teams Fall/Winter Overview

The U8/U9 Competitive Rep. Teams are for U8 players born in 2019 and U9 players born in 2018 who are ready for structured Fall/Winter development and competitive play. Two weekly training sessions and one Ontario Soccer-sanctioned league game help players build technique, confidence, teamwork, decision-making, and positive competitive habits.

What Your Child Will Learn

In our U8/U9 Competitive Rep. Teams, players focus on both individual skills and teamwork, including:

Competitive Skills: Master essential techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending with precision and confidence.
Training Attitude: Build discipline, focus, and a strong work ethic during practices and games.
Mental Toughness: Develop resilience to stay confident under pressure, recover from mistakes, and maintain a growth mindset.
Teamwork: Enhance communication skills, understand team roles, and support teammates on and off the field.
Game Application: Gain valuable experience applying skills in real match scenarios, including positioning, decision-making, and competitive strategies.

U8/U9 Competitive Rep. Teams Fall/Winter Details

Season Duration:

October 5, 2026–April 16, 2027

Tryouts & Team Placement:

Interested participants must complete the Tryout Form available online.
Tryouts may be scheduled to evaluate skills and determine team placement.

Training Schedule:

Tuesdays: 6:00 PM–7:30 PM
Fridays: 6:00 PM–7:00 PM
Two training sessions per week
Indoor facilities in Mississauga; details provided through TeamLinkt
One Ontario Soccer-sanctioned league game each week on Saturday or Sunday
