Competitive Rep. Teams U8–U14 Overview

Mississauga United FC’s Competitive Rep. Teams provide structured Fall/Winter training and league competition for U8–U14 players. The program supports technical development, tactical understanding, teamwork, confidence, and age-appropriate competitive growth. Eligible birth years are U8—2019; U9—2018; U10—2017; U11—2016; U12—2015; U13—2014; and U14—2013.

What Players Develop in the Competitive Rep. Team Program

Players improve technical ability, fitness, tactical awareness, decision-making, and teamwork through consistent indoor training and league competition.

  • Skill Development: Focused training on ball mastery, tight control, dribbling, and precise passing to sharpen technical abilities.
  • Fitness & Agility: Soccer-specific drills to boost strength, endurance, and quickness for competitive play.
  • Game Experience: League competition builds match awareness and decision-making.
  • Fall/Winter Training: Indoor sessions from October through April support consistent development without weather interruptions.

Competitive Rep. Teams U8–U14 Program Details

Season Duration:

  • October 5, 2026–April 16, 2027

Training Schedule:

  • U8/U9 Competitive Rep. Teams:
  • Times: 6:00–7:30 PM on Tuesdays; 6:00–7:00 PM on Fridays
  • Train twice per week and play one Ontario Soccer-sanctioned league game on Saturday or Sunday.
  • U10 Competitive Rep. Team:
  • Times: 6:00–7:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Train three times per week and play one weekend league game on Saturday or Sunday.
  • U11 Competitive Rep. Team:
  • Times: 6:00–8:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays; 6:00–7:00 PM on Thursdays
  • Train three times per week and play one weekend league game on Saturday or Sunday.
  • U12 Competitive Rep. Team:
  • Times: 6:00–8:00 PM on Mondays; 7:30–9:00 PM on Tuesdays; 7:00–8:30 PM on Thursdays
  • Train three times per week and play one weekend league game on Saturday or Sunday.
  • U13 Competitive Rep. Team:
  • Times: 6:00–8:00 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays; 7:00–8:00 PM on Fridays
  • Train three times per week and play one weekend league game on Saturday or Sunday.
  • U14 Competitive Rep. Team:
  • Times: 8:00–9:30 PM on Mondays; 7:30–9:00 PM on Thursdays; 6:00–8:00 PM on Fridays
  • Train three times per week and play one Provincial Indoor Soccer League (PISL) game on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Training takes place at indoor facilities throughout Mississauga. Registered families will receive detailed facility information through TeamLinkt prior to the start of the program.
