🎯 About the 2025–2026 Indoor Competitive Season

During the 2025–2026 indoor season, Mississauga United FC will run a club-wide D-League preparation program. This means all rep. team coaches will focus on preparing their age groups for D-League competition through structured weekly sessions and internal match play.

As a coach, you will:

  • Plan and deliver sessions aligned with the D-League technical and tactical expectations
  • Guide players through position-specific and team-based development
  • Build consistency between training sessions and game-style scrimmages
  • Support players in understanding game strategy, transitions, and teamwork fundamentals
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director to track progress and evaluate readiness for D-League competition

Requirements for Applicants

Mississauga United FC seeks motivated and qualified Ontario Soccer–licensed coaches who are ready to contribute to the club’s player development goals.

1. Club Curriculum:
Ability to understand and apply Mississauga United’s curriculum in every training session.

2. Demonstration of Skills:
Confidence in demonstrating and teaching essential technical and tactical skills.

3. Knowledge of FIFA Rules:
Solid understanding of FIFA Laws of the Game and ability to manage small-sided scrimmages effectively.

4. Communication Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage positively with players and parents.

5. Positive Coaching Philosophy:
A coach who values respect, teamwork, and motivation as much as performance.

6. Reliability & Professionalism:
Commitment to punctuality, preparation, and schedule consistency throughout the indoor season.


🎓 Required Qualifications

Mississauga United FC is committed to maintaining a high standard of coaching excellence through certified leadership.

1. Ontario Soccer Coaching License:

  • Must hold a valid Ontario Soccer–recognized certification (Learn to Train, Soccer for Life, C License, or higher).
  • Additional certifications (Goalkeeping, Respect in Sport, Making Ethical Decisions, etc.) are assets.

2. Coaching Experience:

  • Previous experience coaching competitive youth teams in Ontario Soccer leagues or D-League settings is preferred.

3. Curriculum Implementation:

  • Capable of delivering engaging, well-structured, and development-focused sessions aligned with club and D-League standards.

4. Soccer Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of game models, positional play, and the tactical demands of D-League competition.

5. Player Development Mindset:

  • Focused on teaching, guiding, and mentoring youth players rather than prioritizing short-term results.
